• The entire hook-up procedure takes approximately 45-60 minutes.
  
  
• We typically will start the sleep study between 10:00 and 11:00 pm.
  
  
• You are free to walk around the Sleep Center after being hooked-up.
  
  
• You are free to use the bathroom during the night.
  
  
• The monitoring devices are sturdy.  If a device is pulled off, the technician will fix it immediately.
  
  
• In the morning, the technician will remove all of the monitoring devices.  This process takes about 15-20 minutes.  Afterwards you are free to leave.
  
  
• The study will end between 5:30 – 6:30 am.
  
  
• Please make an appointment with your referring physician or our sleep physician (if you were seen by one of our physician) 2-3 weeks after your study has been performed.  Please let us know when this appointment has been scheduled so we can ensure that your results are completed.
